Welcome to The Curated Edit! We're kicking things off with one of the most important—and most overlooked—parts of the design process: getting clear on your vision before you start sourcing a single piece.

So often, we see clients jump straight into shopping. One day it’s a rug, the next it’s a sofa, and then they’re three purchases in with nothing that really works together. The result? A room that feels disjointed, unfinished, or just... not quite right.

But here’s the truth: great design starts with intention.

Before you start filling a space, ask yourself these 3 questions:

1. How do I want this room to feel?

Cozy and relaxed? Clean and minimal? Bright and energetic? The vibe should guide every choice that follows.

2. What’s staying—and what’s not?

Be honest about what you already own. Are there pieces you love and want to work around? Or are you starting from scratch? Clarity here prevents wasted time and budget.

3. What do I actually use this space for?

Form matters—but function comes first. A beautiful space still has to serve your daily life. A reading nook? Game nights? Zoom calls? Design accordingly.

Once you’ve answered these questions, you’re ready to move on to the fun part: curating. That’s where we come in. Our goal is to help you make thoughtful, confident choices that reflect your style—and make your home feel truly yours.

We’re so glad you’re here. Let’s design something beautiful—together.
